Trustwave, a leader in information security solutions, is seeking a Finance Senior Manager to join and lead Trustwave's growing Finance and Accounting team in Chicago.
Responsibilities include:
* Partner with business-line leadership, operations, human resources and IT to ensure consistent, timely, and pertinent financial reporting
* Drive transformation and continuous improvement within Finance
* Drive monthly forecast cadence, ensuring deadlines are met while driving transparency and accuracy
* Set annual budget and routinely calibrate financial performance
* Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects as directed by the Chief Financial Officer and Business leaders
* Prepare and analyze monthly/ quarterly financial reports, providing insight regarding key drivers of variances
* Routinely communicate business unit and region consolidated financial results, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics
* Manage revenue recognition process and monthly close process
As a business advisor and team leader, you will work with sales, operations and other members of the finance team as the key advisor. It is a hands-on role that will see you getting involved in a wide range of processes in order to understand them and implement improvements. As a leader and mentor to the group, you will also be responsible for evaluating and developing team members, so they may become stronger professionals within the organization.
Qualifications:
* Ten years of Finance background, preferably in FP&A
* Strong, progressive professional experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a technology services organization
* Experience working in or with a fast growth high-tech international business.
* Proven ability and desire to work effectively, delivering accurate results under tight deadlines in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
* Experience developing sales, operations and capital budgets
* Self-motivated and effective leader that garners trust and loyalty
* Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills
* Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
* Attention to detail is a must
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel a must; SQL/ NetSuite/ Power BI/ Salesforce preferred
* Ability to analyze large data sets and distill them down into a digestible output
* Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field, MBA preferred
