Job description

The Senior Manager - Finance, NACA is responsible for the finance function of the North America Central Americal (NACA) Region. This role is a key business partner to the General Manager and leadership of NACA region. The incumbent of this role supports the decision support,financial planning, monthly reporting, audits, accounting and statutory compliance for the region.

Responsibilities & duties

Finance, and Accounting for NACA Region

Partner with the CFO and NACA GM in building and executing a strong financial plan for the Region, together with financial priorities, goals, policies, KPIs, processes and tools for effective decision-making and performance tracking. Be proactive in raising issues and opportunities for tax-effective and cost-effective business practices.

Analysis of Business Opportunities

Play a key and proactive role in assessing and advising the leadership team on opportunities, agreements, ventures, and investments impacting strategtic development and profitability of the NACA region.

Improving Controls, processes and practices

Work on improving the processes and establishing strong internal controls, and ensures a strong environment of compliance in the region. Ensure successful internal and external audits.

Insights into performance; anticipating issues

Participate as a thought leader on the global finance team. Identify weaknesses in financial information; anticipate strategic and operational issues stemming from income and balance sheet performance in the region.

SAP and effective data collection

Support SAP improvements and effectiveness in collaboration with IT and regional finance colleagues

Taxation and Compliance

· Ensure compliance to various taxation and other regulations applicable to the regional operations

Banking and Treasury

· Support the global cash flow while maintaining appropriate cash situation at the regional level. Manage the FX hedging and other banking operations.

Additional responsibilities that arise

· Take initiative and/or direction from CFO on projects and responsibilities that go beyond formal responsibilities and that may arise as circumstances change.

Academic & Formal Qualifications

Bachelors' degree in Accounting or Business

Desirable qualifications

· CPA or other finance-related certification demonstrating mastery of accounting, e.g. CMA


Work Experience & Skills

At least 8 years' experience in managing the finance and/or accounting function of a multi entity / location setup. Advance knowledge of US GAPP

Exposure to SAP or similar ERP
