Build and retain candidate pipelines for various disciplines and gather competitive insights to support and accelerate the recruitment process for QBE across North America - including sourcing, market research and target building, report generation and story-telling, managing passive candidate pools and tying these back to open roles.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare strategy documents, action plan and market research for the recruitment teams, hiring managers and HRBPs
• Analyze research findings to deliver recommendations to the business that are easily digested and practically implemented
• Conduct intake sessions with stakeholders and HRBPs to scope out projected hiring and determine the when, the who and the how of targeted sourcing efforts
• Identify and understand the future talent needs of hiring managers throughout the organization
• Build and maintain a network of talent to proactively plan for staffing needs across QBE's business units through interviews and regular communication
• Ensure primary research activities are carried out in accordance with relevant privacy and advocacy legislation
• Develop market and talent insights across multiple sources, through primary and secondary research studies, and prepare narrative analysis / reports
• Ensure that developed talent pools can be quickly shortlisted and actioned as to drive a lower time to fill and give the business usable and accessible insights
• Organize and segment market data information in usable formats (by function, level, geography etc.)
• Preparation of market research plans / proposals delivered to executive management detailing recommendations for most appropriate methodology, survey design, sampling and statistical and/or qualitative analysis to ensure that the business information needs are achieved
• Source, screen and engage passive talent, educating them on QBE culture and the benefits of working here
• Create an exceptional candidate experience by informing them on our process and balancing the courting period and the transition to active requirements

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Required Experience

• 5 years relevant experience

Preferred Knowledge

• Intermediate understanding of principles and procedures for recruiting, interviewing and selecting talent
• Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements and affirmative action plan related to recruitment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and ability to create and edit documents in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong working knowledge of applicant tracking systems

• General office jobs: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is not substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Must have the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. Must be able to operate basic office equipment including telephone, headset and computer. Incumbent must be able to lift basic office equipment up to 20 lbs.
