Position Overview

NMSC is seeking a SVP/CFO who will play a central role in the success and growth of the organization. Primary responsibilities corporate accounting/finance, operational excellence, and technology systems. The SVP/CFO will serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing insight and recommendations on company management and pivotal strategic decisions. The SVP/CFO will manage a growing team of five professionals and report directly to the CEO.

This position is based in Chicago in a hybrid work environment with the expectation the SVP/CFO will work at least two days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • As a key member of the management team, provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic plans
  • Lead the corporate finance/accounting and operations teams, coaching and developing team members to attain organizational and professional development goals.
  • Work with business units throughout the enterprise on business process optimization
  • Optimize the use of data and technology in supporting business needs
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis work for the organization, providing the management team and Board of Managers with financial insight into the achievement of profitability goals and strategic plan KPIs
  • Manage corporate finance and ensure timely and accurate corporate financial reporting
