Job description

The Systems Operations Analyst is expected to ensure the effective utilization of software applications and outsourcing service providers to meet the needs of the Bank's personnel at all levels*.

This analyst will advise Bank management on technology and how it can help the Company perform better and will support staff to implement and use new technology solutions. The Systems Operation Analyst is responsible for assisting outsourcing professionals in planning, justification and evaluation of the Bank's information systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Catalog and oversee the management of all bank hardware and software systems

Learn how all bank software platforms operate on a practical level and assist with management and training on such platforms

Work with outsourcing professionals in implementing innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs

Work closely with Bank personnel to determine the maintenance and growth needs of the company's network

Monitor changing network technology and deliver a technology update to management each month

Implement and administer disaster plans that will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis

Respond to auditor and regulator requests regarding IT infrastructure

Prepare monthly IT reports to management and directors

Manage the development and implementation of GN Bank's social media strategy

Design and create content for ad and social media campaigns (Newsletters, email campaigns, and social media posts).

Assist with core banking implementation tasks

Other tasks to be assigned based on current needs

Qualifications

Knowledgeable in Computer Science, Business, or related field.

Experience in information technology management.

Strong problem solving and communication skills required.

Experience in a banking or financial environment will be a plus.

*The management of GN Bank's information systems - hardware and software - are largely outsourced.
