The Retail Department is responsible for store design, visual presentation and execution throughout the Trek Bicycle corporation. This includes Direct Retail and our independent dealer base worldwide. The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for implementing and maintaining the visual presentation strategy. The Visual Merchandiser will ensure proper presentation of key investments, brand driving pieces and key initiatives in a compelling and impactful way.

• Strategize and develop floor plans based on traffic flow, sales process and display points
• Develop window or internal displays based on a theme, style or trend of promotion
• Source props and signage as needed
• Installation of fixtures, graphics and signage
• Coordinate and deliver scope of work with cross functional and external partners
• Gather pertinent information regarding current and past business operations
• Effectively compile orders for ongoing projects and ensure arrival in a timely
• Create schedules on a project by project basis
• Build strong partnerships with vendors to ensure success and efficiency
• Lead on site teams and vendors to meet timelines
• A solutions seeker with a 'can do' attitude

10% Space Planning

• Guide production planning activities ranging from developing and revising production schedules, forecasting trends and customer demand, and managing logistics.
• Transfer AutoCAD drawings into Ai
• Develop 2D displays of goods and services in order to maximize sales and profit. These include window displays, interior point-of-sale displays, special promotions and general merchandising of bikes and accessories.

• Travel to new and existing locations to execute design. Coordinate with local teams and vendors. Executions will include fixture installations and organization, graphic installation and product merchandising.

10% Budget & Timeline Management:

• Stay within a set timeline and budget for every Visual Presentation project, this includes providing a budget to Visual Manager for Visual aspects of the design as well as manage the budget for projects that only require Visual Presentation needs.

• Proficient in the following: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator); Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Previous retail experience
• Basic knowledge of store design and process
• Deadline-driven, detail oriented and the ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to manage/oversee multiple projects while working independently with little supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication
• High energy level and commitment to success
• Effective communication skills across all aspects of the business and the ability to build strong relationships across multiple team
