LETS TALK ABOUT US
"Lets make tomorrow different today" is our genuine commitment at Siemens Energy to all customers and employees on the way to a sustainable future.
In our Global Business Segment Heat Transfer Technology (HTT) with its corporate seat and headquarter in the Netherlands, a branch in Germany as well as representatives in the United States, Mexico, Malaysia and South Korea, we enable our organization to reach their targets by providing best-in class services and solutions to our internal and external customers be the #1 partner of choice.
Steam is an essential element to drive energy efficiency. As a primary energy source, it fulfils many important functions, whether its used to operate a turbine, as process steam for use in industry, or for district heating. Therefore, heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) are main components of power plants and as part of industrial processes. Our vision is to design and deliver innovative and flexible HRSG and heat exchanger solutions at market price level; before, during and fit for after the energy transition.
Our Heat Transfer Technology (HTT) business is a reputable OEM HRSG supplier, previously operating under the NEM brand name. We are worldwide one of the Top 3 HRSG OEMs and number 1 from Europe.
Since 2018 HTT has been established worldwide within the Top 3 HRSG OEMs and is #1 located in Europe, with a global market share close to 12%. We serve custom-made solutions to utilities, industry as well as oil & gas business. Heat Recovery Steam Generators behind large gas turbines make up the largest portion of the activities. We supply the market with boilers behind gas turbines, varying in size from 10 MW up to the largest machines, but also use heat from other sources.
HTTs driving forces are its distinctive know-how and continuous technological innovation, with an eye on highest overall efficiency and operability of its products and by this reducing CO2 emissions significantly. For smaller applications HTT has established a highly competitive solution of Heat Recovery Steam Generators and Waste Heat Recovery Units for e.g. medium/ small gas turbines since 2017. Both products are characterized by maximized shop-fabrication and consequently significantly reduced site work and improved overall quality. This product line has proven to also suit the needs of thermal storage and off-shore applications.
For all applications, HTT also provides exhaust gas systems as well as spares, inspection and after sale services.
HTT aims to differentiate via execution excellence and quality. Integrated solutions with optimized operability and efficiency are in the focus.
To keep a competitive cost position besides having a clear product focus and future oriented developments in the pipeline, the levers are (i) further optimization of organizational cost, (ii) focus on integrated solutions, (iii) balancing standardization versus and tailor-made solutions and (iv) leveraging international partner and supplier network.
On the mid-term the investments on products serving the energy transition to a decarbonized world will pay out.
With that we will provide a strong portfolio and are well positioned to bring value to our customers and society.
The procurement department covers the entire supply chain and is responsible for all subcontracting of fabrication, procurement and expediting of materials and equipment and all logistics operations for our projects worldwide.
