The Opportunity:

Safety-Kleen East Saint Louis, IL is looking for a Terminal Operator (Tank Farm Operator) to join their safety conscious team! Responsibilities include loading and unloading oil from trucks as they come into the facility.

1 st Shift, Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Unloading and loading oil from tanker trucks and rail cars;
• Transferring oil throughout the tank farm and facility;
• Transferring drums throughout the facility using a forklift;
• Sorting waste for disposal;
• Daily inspections and indoor/outdoor housekeeping;
• Other duties as required.

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

• Previous experience in a physical/labor-intensive role;
• Previous experience as a chemical operator or working in a tank farm is an asset;
• Previous forklift experience is an asset;
• Valve and Pump knowledge is an asset;
• Basic computer skills are required;
• Valid Drivers License and clean 3-year MVR required;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as a team.
