Regional Lead Financial Planning & Analysis
Headquarters location for large Healthcare Organization
In this role, the Lead Regional Financial Planning and Analysis will:
Prepare, review and analyze monthly financial reporting. Analyze and identify the root cause of major variances between actual and plan/forecast.
The Lead Financial Analyst will:
Participate in monthly operational calls, providing support to financial areas such as cash flow, net operating margin and revenue & expense projections.
Review and analyze campus forecasts/projections, and keep FP&A leadership updated with an overview of expected results.
Assist with requests to analyze the financial impact to campuses of business initiatives such as pricing or level of care changes.
Assist FP&A leadership in the Integrated Strategic Plan (ISP) process by providing forecast projections for census, revenue and expense assumptions, as well as providing insight on business trends.
Play an integral role in the annual plan process and department budgets.
Maintain compliance with corporate administrative and finance policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate for Lead Financial Analyst will have:
A Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent.
Seven years of related experience.
High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience in financial planning and strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal, English skills required).
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple organizational levels, exhibiting a positive attitude and customer-focused demeanor.
Ability to take initiative and be comfortable working in a self-directed manner, while also have the ability to take direction from VP of Finance
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, while having the ability to also step back and understand the big picture and implications of analyses.
A valid driver's license in good standing, as the position may involve travel to company offices
Preferred Qualifications:
An MBA or CPA is preferred.
Experience with TM1, Lawson, and Vision software a plus
Experience in healthcare is beneficial, but not required
