QPS Employment Groupishiring aFull Desk-SkilledRecruiterfor our Gurnee, IL branch. We are looking for a passionate individual who is motivated and committed to hard work, with a great work ethic. The person must possess thegenuine desire to run their own recruiting and sales desk. The person will be responsible for servicing the skilled employment needs of our customers for multiple QPS branch locations and acquiring new business partnerships within a defined geographical area.

This is a permanent full-time, internal opportunity with QPS. Working hours will be Monday - Friday, 1st shift,andwork overtime (as needed). This position is a base salary + commissions. Enjoy our full benefits package and mileage and cell phone reimbursement.

Duties:

  • Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position

  • Presents offers of employment to candidates per the terms of the customer, assist in any necessary counter offer and/or benefit negotiations

  • Responsible for new customer acquisition in a designated geographical area (via cold-calling, marketing and sales efforts)

  • Conducts research to identify prospects

  • Deepens existing customer relationships, including deep-selling QPS services

  • Analyzes and consults with prospects and customers on business/industry issues and needs

  • Resolves or escalates customer issues, including collection conversations

  • Delivers strategic sales presentations/conversations (includes cold calling)

  • Maintains prospect, candidate and customer records

  • Builds and works a pipeline, participates in forecasting

  • Performs searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria using computer databases, networking, internet recruiting, cold calls, media, and employee referrals

  • Keeps abreast of best practices and industry trends. Such as attending educational workshops, networking events, reviewing professional publications

  • Develops networking relationships with Trade Schools to attract potential prospects to QPS

  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred

  • 1-2 years recruiting experience preferred

  • 1-3 years of related sales experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Valid driver's license, vehicle, auto insurance (up to 25% local traveling)
