Molex is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner that is passionate about people-strategy, DE&I, leadership coaching and development, L&D/custom resource & workshop design and facilitation, and experimentation & continuous improvement, all while having some fun working with the dynamic and personable individuals from our America's Region Sales and Marketing team.

Location: Lisle, IL or Chicago, IL - partial remote work/flexibility will be offered for this role (typically around 2-3 days in the office/week, based entirely on key stakeholder needs and priorities).

The America's Sales and Marketing region includes around 255+ employees located across the US, Canada, Mexico, and South America, supported by a team of HR partners located in the US.Key stakeholders for this role include our Marketing team, our Sales Development group (SDG), Customer Service, and our Field Sales Managers (DSMs) and their teams. These stakeholders highly value: someone with a strong ability to build relationships, credibility, influence, and trust with leaders and their teams; custom content that helps enhance team dynamic, boost engagement, and build excitement and morale; leadership coaching, feedback, and guidance for critical employee-related initiatives and issues; talent-and organizational-strategy guidance and support; and someone who is not afraid to respectfully challenge ideas and mental models to drive better solutions, decisions, and outcomes.
What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Serve as a critical, go-to resource for key stakeholders by putting in the time, energy, and effort to develop strong working relationships based on mutual respect and trust.
  • Work closely with Supervisors in the region to develop a strong people-strategy and vision, and proactively identify opportunities for the HR function to add value with any and all people-related initiatives.
  • Drive focused Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives to foster a culture where all employees are respected, celebrated, and leveraged for their unique characteristics, knowledge, skills, and experiences; where employees feel a sense of belonging and that they are seen, heard, and valued.
  • Conduct needs assessments with key customer groups to design, develop and deliver custom resources, solutions, and workshops to help develop employee and manager knowledge, skills, capabilities, and maximize contribution.
  • Provide meaningful market data and insights to manager-level stakeholders to effectively incentivize high performance of their teams in alignment with what their employees value.
  • Help managers understand and apply our MBM compensation philosophy, driving thoughtful, pay-related decisions in alignment with total compensation for total contribution.
  • Help facilitate effective performance management solutions for the Sales & Marketing employees in the region, including performance appraisals, 360 feedback, talent review and succession planning, performance counseling, coaching and corrective action, employee recognition and rewards, etc.
  • Perform operational HR tasks as needed, such as: supporting the Molex Fleet Vehicle program/vendor relationship; leveraging and updating employee data in our HCM system, myHR; working with our centers of excellence such as TA and HRIS for the operational tasks involved in the employee lifecycle, etc


The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, or other related field(s)
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, Learning & Development, or other related business function(s), including experience with applicable employment laws/regulations
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, as needed (for regional / district sales / team meetings)
  • Self-starter, strong initiative, ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities with limited guidance
  • Extremely detail-oriented, with the proven ability to assess a situation with a critical-thinking lens and quickly identify risks, alternatives, and best path forward in alignment with our risk-philosophy

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Higher-level education and/or certification in Human Resources or other related field(s)
  • Previous Business Partner experience supporting a diverse Sales & Marketing group
  • Previous experience supporting a geographically diverse or global workforce
  • Previous experience leading formal manager development programs, and performance coaching experience
