Job description

Overview: The CRS Group is currently looking for an IT Shop Floor Project Manager for one of our clients in the Lisle area. The CRS Group is a nationwide Staffing Firm who works primarily with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.

Job Description:

The IT Shop Floor Project Manager will work closely with the PMO team and other IT functional areas to drive initiatives that will achieve department objectives. Their major objective is to implement MES system at new manufacturing facility, including integrations with other shop floor systems. They will support project teams and leadership with various tasks including owning the IT governance process, tracking project progress, and communicating updates to schedules, tasks, deliverables and budget.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain project governance site, including reviewing submitted documents, working with team on edits, uploading all program documentation and deliverables consistent with sound project management practices.
  • Create, edit, and maintain electronic and written communication.
  • Coordinates project activities and participates in project meetings with matrix partners and staff.
  • Maintain and track meeting minutes.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve department results, communications, and operating efficiencies.
  • Complete tasks related to various cross-functional projects in support of departmental goals; provide backup support to the CIO office.
  • Responsibilities may also include resolving or escalating project risks and issues with appropriate personnel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field AND 6+ years of experience in related field required
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow a plus
  • Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands
  • Strong interpersonal and follow-through skills
  • Ability to exhibit accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to take initiative and make decisions
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as within a team environment and working effectively in a high-pressure environment with changing priorities
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and other PC skills
  • Must have a positive attitude
