Business Analyst

Advanced Resources is currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst for our client in the Northbrook area for a 12 month contract. The successful candidate will have minimum 3 years of experience.

Summary:

Business Analyst will work on the implementation of a Marketing system API integration with existing 3 rd party applications/systems. Business Analyst will work with stakeholders and technical team members to map, analyze and document business, functional and technical requirements and data mapping for all integrations. Partner with the business to analyze requirements; advising the business on options and risks and identify impacts to business processes and internally and externally used technology applications and solutions. Functioning in a liaison capacity, this position combines business-planning expertise to analyze and translate departments' business requirements into system deployments and business process changes.

This position collaborates with the business, vendors and IT teams, assists in integration and acceptance testing, designs and conducts data validation, supports the development of training and implementation material, participates in project planning and implementation and provides post-implementation support.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with business teams to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access
• Analyze and develop requirements for the API integration with existing systems and assess impacts to those systems
• Analyze and document current and future processes
• Lead planning and execution of data validation, system and User Acceptance Testing
