Job Purpose:

As a Sr Business Process Specialist, a successful candidate will have responsibility to coordinate and ensure the accurate and timely reporting of worldwide machine PINS data and resolve discrepancies with dealers and associated company areas.

Description:

The PINS Sr Business Process Specialist will ensure integrity of the PINS data reported, which is used company wide as the safe source for PINS Information by answering questions related to reporting methods, trade association policy and procedures, and resolving problems.

• Work to resolve business rules issues and work with business partners to resolve PINS reporting problems and questions.
• Handle worldwide marketing requests for information assistance and challenges to PINS information.
• Maintain company machine product structure, such as sales models & size class, as a source for forecasting system, business plan, sales shipments inventory reporting, PINS, etc.
• Prepare correspondence to notify business partners of changes related to PINS timing, trade association changes, and internal PINS reporting changes.
• Support trade association guidelines worldwide, establishes and monitors quality measures and audit procedures and works with business partners worldwide to enhance data quality and integrity.

A successful candidate for the PINS Sr Business Process Specialist role should possess good communication skills, capable of interacting with various roles within the organization, including senior leadership. In addition, the candidate should have a strong command for Caterpillar's business and be familiar with our product structure and distribution network. The candidate should be comfortable with technology including; the use of visualization and report tools such as Power BI, information processing concepts, and familiarity with SQL queries.

Basic Requirements:

• 5+ years of Caterpillar experience supporting processes related to Caterpillar's prime product orders, sales, or marketing processes.
• Strong communication skills capable of communicating with senior management, external business partners, and senior dealer personnel.
• Strong business acumen.

Top Candidate Will Also Have:

• Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools.
• Experience with PINS, Sales, Shipments, or Forecasting business processes and/or the reporting.
• Self-starter, independent worker
• Ability to build trust through effective team relationships.

Additional Details:

• Location: Peoria, Illinois
• Some travel is expected
