A Quality Control (QC) Technician's primary role is to provide support to the QC Laboratory staff by ensuring the QC Testing Systems and Instruments are consistently in a test-ready, validated state, for the release of product and materials, so that our patients can have the medications they need, when they need them.
This position works days, Monday - Friday 2nd shift - 3:00P - 11:30P

The Role
- Assisting in the writing/revising of technical documents including Calibration/Preventive Maintenance and Administrative procedures, Validation User Requirements, System Impact Assessments and Installation/Operational Qualification protocols and technical reports
- Assisting in the purchasing of laboratory equipment
- Assisting in the creation and closure of Change Control records
- Assisting in the creation and closure of Work Order records.
- Operating microbiological or analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, UV, ICP-MS, FTIR, TOC, CE, ICE, Karl Fisher, Sterility Isolator, Plate Reader during service activities
- Assisting with investigations to determine root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions
The Candidate
- High School/GED
- Technical Certificate or higher preferred
- 2-5 years of experience
- GMP experience preferred
- Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety information
