CNO is hiring an HR Manager to be a key member of the HRBP team, providing advisory and consultative services to assigned business leaders, plays a key role in enterprise HR projects and proactively partnering with HR colleagues to grow and develop CNO's intern program.

As an HR Manager, your responsibilities will include:

* Partners with and provides ongoing support to respective business area leaders and provides advisory and consultative services to business leaders on people-related issues.
* Plays a key role in support of the Intern Program helping to identify, foster and develop relationships with key schools and organizations.
* Serves as a lead resource in support of key HR initiatives and projects representing and ensuring alignment with the HRBP team.
* Prepares for and leads projects and organizational change processes by providing ongoing planning, communication, support, and advocacy before, during, and after change process.
* Support the HRBP's in the development of job descriptions, sequencing plans and communication material related to reorganizations.
* Serves as the primary point of contact within the HRBP team for the HR Policy Committee, ensuring Company policies and practices are effectively executed.

The HR Manager position is well-suited for you if you:

* Demonstrate solid knowledge and understanding of change management, performance management, management coaching/development, organizational design/development and associate relations and employment law.
* Have the ability to work with a diverse workforce and cross-functional teams to build strong business partner relationships
* Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to influence others.
* Can work independently, managing a variety of projects and priorities, under limited direction.
* Possess solid presentation skills.
* Have a demonstrated ability to listen to other people and strong business-partnership orientation.
* Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other related business software

Qualified candidates will have:

* Bachelor's degree in business, I/O Psychology, or related discipline required OR 8 years of relavant experience in lieu of a degree.
* At least five years of relevant HR experience, preferably as an HR Generalist or Employee Relations Specialist.
* SPHR or PHR certification preferred

CNO Financial Group is pursuing a hybrid working model. Our associates will have access to come into their affiliated Office (Carmel, Chicago or Philadelphia) up to 2 days/week, and work from home up to 3 days/week. To ensure accessibility to our corporate campuses, we ask that candidates reside within a 60 mile radius of the position location.
