Manages the post-closing and/or shipping functions in an efficient, accurate, and compliant manner, including, but not limited to MERS registration, insuring, trailing documents, note delivery, review of signed closing documents, and delivery of packages to investors.
- Review and advise on investor-related post-closing conditions and coordinate the collection of required information/artifacts to satisfy said conditions to ensure the salability of mortgage loans on the secondary market
- Ensure registering loans with MERS by staff are being completed by staff timely, ensuring a very high degree of accuracy and data integrity
- Ensure mortgage insurance for loans requiring MIP based on pre-established conditions are being completed by staff timely
- Ensure shipment of all loans files to investors are performed by staff timely
- Manage daily production of 3rd party vendors
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for being compliant with all regulations and compliance requirements pertaining to the job function
- Carries out other duties that may be assigned or requested
- Ensure all loans are moving through the LOS accurately and timely
- Will be responsible for training of employees
- Will be responsible to direct the work of assigned employees, including maintaining production records and appraising their productivity and efficiency
- Will be responsible to plan the work of the team, determine what process will be used and allocating or assigning work
- Actively assist in any assigned work areas when volume requires
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year of related experience in mortgage industry
- Good accounting skills and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to communicate with customers, internal stakeholders, vendors and other service providers in a timely and professional manner
- Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem resolution
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to self-prioritize work based on ever-changing business needs
- Responsible for production management of a team of Post-Closer and Shipper employees
