Job description

Summary:

The Quality Assurance Team Lead is responsible for coordinating with Operations Manager, Quality Manager and Supervisors for the purpose of advancing overall Quality and enhancing efficiencies in all aspects for the operation.

Job Duties: -

· Oversees 1 to 15 associates when VAS projects and inspections are required

· Oversees Cycle Counting process and provides direction to the Cycle Count staff

· Assumes responsibility for all expired material and handling of all quality status change requests

· Reports discrepancies to Operations Manager and makes necessary adjustments once approved

· Documents all destruction orders keeping log of all materials sent out for destruction

· Coordinates with Operations Manager on labor planning and staffing needs for VAS projects

· Schedules labor and plans VAS projects

· Maintains safe and organized work environments

· Monitors daily quality and overall effectiveness of processes throughout the operation

· Maintains all documents including all SOPs and Work Instructions for the account

· Verifies and enters all training of all associate while identifying gaps in training and coordinating with Supervisors to provide effective training processes

· Communicates with customers daily

· Addresses all quality issues, holds, releases, special projects and special requests

· Coordinates with customers to address quality issues in all aspects of the operation

· Ensures that all work is conducted according to GMP standards and all work is documented thoroughly

· Monitors and reports on all pest control devices communicating with pest control company as needed

· Conducts weekly process audits and paperwork audits throughout the operation

· Assists Quality Manager with State Pharmaceutical License applications and renewals

· Ensures monthly GMP and SSS audits are conducted and follows up on corrective actions

· Other duties as required and assigned

Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent

· Minimum 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training in a warehouse; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

· Experience with operating warehouse equipment, such as electric pallet jacks, reach truck forklift, sit down forklift and order picker

· Knowledge of safety compliance for operating equipment

· PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

· Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

· Ability to write simple reports and correspondence

· Ability to develop and proof training materials.

· Strong problem solving and analytical skills

· Ability to operate PIT

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Environment:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and can be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.
