Local Job Title: Marketing Communications Specialist

Position Summary:

Heavily support Client Brand marketing initiatives and programs. Specifically, ongoing management of the new Video Studio (VS) technology program, including employee testimonial collection, edit and publish weekly videos within the tech platform tool. Some copywriting and marketing collateral development will be needed.

Responsibilities for this position will include the following:

* Act as VS platform evangelist for ongoing employee population.
* Ensure content is being loaded into the Employee Advocacy Program tool (Client ENGAGE) for employee distribution as well as manage employee engagement data points and reporting to compare and improve our marketing tactics over time.
* Support continued social media content collection by working with Employer Brand Team and set agency team partners.
* Support Client Talent Acquisition Leadership Team with writing internal communications.
* Message development for special projects and internal promotion of TA strategy efforts will be included.
* All communications and marketing support through this position will heavily support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) attraction and retention.
* Be able to research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential in marketing opportunities.
* Responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and channel distribution.
* Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
* Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals.
* Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.
* Gather data on competitors and analyze their method of marketing and distribution.
* Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.
* Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs.

Position Requirements:

* Minimum of an Associates' Degree is required. This manager did share that she prefers to see candidates with completed a Bachelors' Degree. Degrees is marketing, communications, journalism or related disciplines preferred.
* Manager is seeking someone with a minimum of 3 years' related work experience in marketing and communications.
* Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisor skills.
* Manager is looking for someone who is comfortable reaching out to people (employee engagement) as there is a lot of follow-up needed in this position. Customer service is of upmost importance for this role.
* Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
* Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
* Knowledge of social media, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
* MS Office proficiency needed - experience in Teams and/or SharePoint would be most helpful.
