Summary:

The JD Edwards Business Analyst position will be responsible for identifying and implementing JDE system improvements with the objective of improving the efficiency in how the business utilizes JDE. This requires a robust understanding of manufacturing operations, ability to effectively interact with the JDE end user community in identifying process inefficiencies and translating into JDE system improvements. This position will also interface with the corporate JDE team ensuring adherence to an overall system strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a conduit between the JDE end user community and the finance/IT team by defining problem statements, outlining business requirements and designing functional/technical specifications
• Subject matter expert in finance, distribution and manufacturing modules in JDE by performing design, configuration, testing, and end user training
• Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize business processes through better use of existing system capabilities and/or changes to system to improve capabilities
• Modify and/or create Webi reports and automated real-time dashboard
• Assist with project management activities on other initiatives by organizing work assignments, establishing deadlines, and monitoring progress
• Communicating regularly with all levels of the organization to ensure constant communication and delivery of user and business needs

Skills:

• JD Edwards Enterprise One system and analytical experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Project management experience in leading projects - experience using formal project software
• Strong knowledge of standard reporting, query tools and building real-time dashboards
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• JD Edwards programming experience is strongly preferred (CNC, OMW, Orchestrator)
• Ability to solve problems, consider alternatives before making decisions, display intuitive judgment, timeliness in making recommendations and decisions
• Ability to multi-task and effectively manage competing priorities

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, Accounting/Finance or related fields, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5-10 years of Project Management/JDE Experience
