Job DescriptionSpecialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
•Interface with the client and project resources as necessary to provide asset management functions and data management services
•Maintain accurate instrument files (work orders, qualification records, etc.)
•Input data into eletrconic asset management system (GMARS)
•Verify equipment-related entries in asset management system
•Compile IQ/OQ/PQ documentation
•Provide second person verification on executed protocols
•Own Change Control process for lab instrumentation
•Partner with Quality Assurance on "in/out" process for instrumentation
•Coordinate with local (on-site) lab samples and transport between buildings
•Maintain stocks of required reagents/chemicals
•Reorder consumables used for instrument qualification and maintenance
•Archive documentation according to pre-defined schedule
•Audit maintenance management database for accuracy
•Audit instrument files for completeness
•Verify certification of secondary standards and submit for re-certification (as needed)
QualificationsThe ideal candidate would possess:
•Relevant experience using complex data systems
•Strong computer (Trackwise and GMARS), scientific, and organizational skills
•Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
•Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in physical science (chemistry, physics, etc.), or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
•Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
