Location: - reside two hours from an Anthem office. (Kentucky strongly preferred)
Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm EST (occasional weekends required)
Given Anthem's scale, balance sheet, broad national reach and depth at the local market level, Anthem has established a new business unit called the Diversified Business Group. The Diversified Business Group is a solutions-oriented business unit within the Company that will support Anthem and other external clients in the pursuit of transforming healthcare.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for translating basic business needs into application software requirements.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: • Analyzes business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs. • Determines specific business application software requirements to address specific business needs. • Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing. • Acts as liaison with users of the software to address questions/issues.
Qualifications

Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field required from a four year accredited college (Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, etc.). Master's degree a plus
+ 3 years related business analysis Healthcare experience, or any combination of education and healthcare experience, which would provide an equivalent background
+ Experience with SQL and Microsoft Access preferred Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.
+ For URAC accredited areas, the following professional competencies apply: Associates in this role are expected to have strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
