Given Anthem's scale, balance sheet, broad national reach and depth at the local market level, Anthem has established a new business unit called the Diversified Business Group. The Diversified Business Group is a solutions-oriented business unit within the Company that will support Anthem and other external clients in the pursuit of transforming healthcare.
Location: Nationwide - Any State; but someone that resides in a Central or Eastern state is preferred.
The Business Strategy Plan Director is responsible for business enterprise strategic planning and client insight work supporting sales growth. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Understanding all aspects of the business and partners with executive sales leadership to define cross-sell strategy for existing clients and success criteria for the future.
- Translates cross-sell strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects priorities, and timelines and ensure alignment and attainment of enterprise's strategic plans to turn strategy into reality.
- Documents strategic priorities such as external environment and reports on client sales initiatives.
- Builds and leverages relationships to provide innovative solutions to complex business problems.
- Proposes opportunities to improve results based on continuous client needs assessment.
- Responsible for the development implementation and monitoring of line of business planning and project activities.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including prior leadership experience and 3 to 5 years strategic planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree preferred. Ability to travel may be required. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Annual Salary Range*: $129,024 - $161,280 (Min - MRP)
Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
