Starting in May, Anthem interns will spend 10-weeks as part of Anthem's Federal Employee Program (FEP). You will gain valuable professional experience as you work on challenging assignments throughout the summer as a member the Sales/Account Management team.
The FHPS Analyst Intern will be responsible for…
Primary responsibilities include supporting:
- Identify opportunities to address key challenges impacting our business and improve ongoing operations. This includes:
- Analyze large and complex datasets
- Implement data analysis plans to address project objectives
- Build user-friendly and dynamic Excel models
- Utilize strong problem solving skills
- Effectively communicate data analysis findings to the consulting team (verbally and written)
- Work efficiently in a multi-task environment
- Work both independently and collaboratively on projects
- Research and analyze available data to identify gaps or trends that support critical decisions, product development efforts or the utilization of current programs
- Participate in opportunities to work cross functionally with teams that support Field Service
Successful intern candidates will need to demonstrate a blend of talents and skills including:
- Analytical and financial acumen
- Project management skills (including time management, risk management, etc.)
- Leadership skills
- Utilization of effective communication skills when working with other team members in a professional setting (persuasive written, oral, and presentation skills)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Healthcare Management, Public Health, Information Technology, or other related degrees
- This internship is from June to August and is 40 hours per week
- Must be enrolled fulltime at an accredited college or university during internship
