ML Talent Strategies is working with an local company to find their next HR superstar. This person will work with the HR Leader and the rest of the senior leadership team to help drive an employee focused culture. The HR Generalist is responsible for managing the human resources-related functions of the company to include: recruitment, payroll/benefits, compensation, and employee relations.

  • Processes bi-weekly payroll via Paylocity. This process includes inputting employee changes, maintaining compliant payroll records, and communicating changes to federal or state regulatory changes.
  • Manages the benefit enrollment process for new hires and open enrollment. Coordinates paperwork related to benefits, retirement plans to include 401(k) 5500 and 945 tax filings, COBRA continuation, workers' compensation and unemployment..
  • Serves as a business partner to the senior leadership team to align HR goals with overall company business objectives.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Drive additional talent management initiatives including, but not limited to: performance management, engagement surveys, employee referral programs, employee recognition programs, exit interviews and succession planning activities.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's Degree (B.A. /B.S.)in general business, business administration, human resources, or other related field; and 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Previous experience in a human resources generalist role is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
