+ Hours: Monday - Friday; 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible)

+ Duration: 12-Month Contract to Possible Hire

+ Location: Indianapolis 46204 (Hybrid/Possibly Remote)

**What's a typical day as a Digital Communications Specialist? You'll be:**

+ Supporting Digital Engagement team with creating and distributing emails via a marketing automation tool

+ Completing incoming requests, allowing the team to focus on strategy and governance of digital tools

+ Managing the request process and creating collateral and assets for distribution

+ Helping to enforce email policies and standards related to community activity, content creation and organization, and visual and written standards

+ Creating graphics for email campaigns

+ Measuring the effectiveness of communications, preparing monthly analytics reports, and understand key performance metrics

**This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:**

+ A Bachelors' degree

+ A degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar fields (preferred)

+ A minimum of 2-4 years' related experience with communications and/or marketing

+ Strong writing and editing skills

+ Knowledge of Associated Press style (AP style)

+ Graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator) experience (preferred)

+ Time management skills

+ Customer service skills

+ A basic knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods (preferred)
