RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Indianapolis, IN that is seeking a Project Financial Manager. In this role, the Project Financial Manager supervises and coordinates activities and daily operations at the project site associated with financials, cost, and invoicing. Responsibilities:
  • Project Financial Manager makes sure that the client is satisfied with all of the financial reporting and invoicing
  • Review and assist in development of Subcontractor schedule of values
  • Approve and submit subcontractor invoices as required per each contract
  • Review General Condition costs and invoice as required per the contract
  • Review budget modifications
  • Develop and manage cash flows for each project on a monthly basis
  • Provide financial documentation for owner monthly meetings
  • Develop monthly owner invoices, submit, and track for monthly payments per each project contract
  • Support document control when needed
  • Review the owner's invoice with the Project Executive and Senior Project Manager prior to personnel submission
  • Project Financial Manager develops and maintains a positive working relationship and rapport with the owner's key
  • Conducts reviews with direct reports
  • Coordinates and supports the subcontractor on boarding and project start up for each subcontractor
  • Processes invoices, while ensuring accuracy and billability
  • Ensures clients receivables are paid and tracks the payments as required
  • Must have extensive knowledge of cost accounting and reporting systems
  • Ensures the safe, effective, and efficient operation of the financial team
  • Project Financial Manager will review financials with the corporate financial manager for Heavy Industrial Division


Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial field with cost reports and invoice documentation
  • Construction experience strongly preferred
  • Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned
  • Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
