A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PROPERTY SERVICES MANAGER
As our Property Service Manager, you will establish the purpose of planning, organizing and directing the property service department. Not only will you manage the maintenance, turnover, and rehab department you will ensure that the property technicians complete jobs with efficiency and within regulatory guidelines to ensure that deadlines are met. You will positively act as an escalation point for owner and tenant issues. You will keep staff rates efficient and hire and fire based on clearly defined key performance indicators. To ensure staff members are hitting property margin goals you will ensure an eye to market-based pricing with an eye to the budgeted P&L. You will ensure staff is keeping to well-defined processes and procedures and that deviations are managed appropriately. Lastly, you will create and maintain open lines of communication with leaders of other departments to build a cooperative atmosphere across departments.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PROPERTY SERVICES MANAGER
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 7+ year(s) in Maintenance or Construction management
* 3+ year(s) supervisory experience
* Valid driver's license
* A reliable vehicle with proof of insurance
