Duke Realty, the largest pure-play, domestic only, logistics REIT in the United States, with best-in-class warehouse/distribution properties in 19 major U.S. cities, has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Real Estate Research Analyst to join our team in our Indianapolis, IN office. Candidates must be attracted to a fast- paced environment where responsiveness and customer service are highly valued. A predisposition towards teamwork and personal responsibility will be critical to a candidate's success. This position will be responsible for researching, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data related to real estate markets, operations, customers and logistic trends. Further, lead data analytics projects and collaborate with cross-functional business and data analytic stakeholders to turn business requirements into data reports. Additional responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Perform complex data analysis to identify opportunities to improve portfolio and operations

  • Communicate complex insights and advice to various levels of management and stakeholders

  • Analyze habits and data available from competitors

  • Research market and industry trends and patterns

  • Recommend changes and improvements based on research findings

  • Write reports, white papers, and other published documents

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Manager


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years real estate and/or logistics and analysis experience including: Markets/Logistics trends and forecasts, Macro-economic and logistics demand indicators, and consumer trends.

  • Able to lead in strategy development and execution.

  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport and interact with various level of professionals

  • Able to make decisions independently with appropriate level of consultation and communication; self-starter.

  • Strong business acumen, leadership, communication and presentation skills

  • Attention to detail, and ability to prioritize workload

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance or Economics. MBA of CFA preferred.

  • Vaccinated for Covid-19 or possess a medical or sincere religious belief waiver.
