GISC Talent Acquisition Specialist

**MANAGER PREFERS LOCAL CANDIDATE, BUT OPEN TO REMOTE IF NECESSARY

- Candidate may be asked to go onsite to help with hiring events

Summary:

The GISC Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the Plant Human Resources Managers to perform end-to-end support and talent acquisition activities related to low/high volume hourly roles including but not limited to; applicant sourcing, end to end workflow support, delivering qualified candidates to hiring leaders, and successfully closing out the hiring process for each assigned requisition. The GISC Talent Acquisition Specialist may flex to support multiple US manufacturing locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the local HR manager, hiring managers, and other leaders with hourly roles for applicable geographical scope.
  • Responsible for posting, sourcing, screening, scheduling, pre-screening, support onboarding and preparing offers hourly roles.
  • Build candidate pipeline through sourcing and manage requisitions.
  • Provide qualified candidates to leaders by sourcing, pre-screening, scheduling interviews.
  • Effectively utilize available technology, resource material, websites, and software to effectively source, identify, and hire candidates.
  • Provides exceptional candidate service for applicants throughout the process.
  • Provides regular status updates to plant leadership and daily collaboration with local HR throughout the hiring process.
  • Works Corporate TA to ensure the effective use of technology including; the applicant tracking system, job boards, and candidate relationship management tools.
Day to Day:

  • Help Develop additional Sourcing Strategies to assist with finding qualified candidates.
  • Works within Indeed often to respond to candidates interest
  • Phone Screens with Candidates
  • Assist with Hiring event, and assist with the interview process
  • Help candidates walk through application process

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

  • 1-3 years' talent acquisition experience required; preferably in manufacturing.
  • Experience with high volume recruiting
Ideal: Candidate who is comfortable in the manufacturing facility with experience recruiting for a variety of different skill sets. A candidate who potentially worked for a staffing company who specialized in production/manufacturing
