Who we want

The Technical Recruiter will be the company's first full-time recruiter and will define, manage and lead Lilt's US full cycle technical recruiting process. You'll partner with company leaders and hiring managers to develop strategies needed to engage top talent. Lilt requires a Recruiter who is agile and able to directly source and close candidates all while navigating a cross functional recruiting system. The candidate will have experience supporting business needs and ensuring the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The role will have a significant organization and cultural impact by driving the attraction of top talent that embodies Lilt's operational virtues.

This position reports directly to the VP of Finance. This position will be based out of our Indianapolis office.

Key responsibilities include:

* Source and engage with talent across a variety of mediums with a focus on passive candidates and technical recruiting
* Work full-cycle taking your candidates through initial outreach through the entirety of the candidate experience, including interview setup
* Own the offer process from extending offers, negotiations, closing candidates, and generating offer letters
* Perform outreach though tools such as Linkedin Recruiter in addition to engaging candidates in social media and other platforms where technical talent is found
* Manage referrals from current employees and external networks with a white glove service
* Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
* Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired
* Participate in industry webinars and virtual events as both a brand talent ambassador and a front-line recruiter
* Source and build candidate pipelines for open positions at various levels.
* Consistently hit sourcing metric goals and support your teammates in a collaborative manner
* Work on best practices in tools and candidate experience to enhance the entire function

Successful candidates will have:

* 4+ years experience as a recruiter in either a fast-paced startup or an at-scale tech company
* Familiar with leading sourcing tools and tech platforms and online communities where candidates are found
* Familiarity with technical specs for product, design, research and engineering roles in backend, frontend, full-stack and other areas of engineering specialization
* Experience with sourcing and primary research (talent/market mapping in particular) as well as engaging and activating passive candidates
* Experience hiring in the software stack or in AI
* Experience with candidate care and balancing process with candidate experience
* Experience working with recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, data management/reporting techniques and software collaboration tools
* Experience creating and fostering partnerships with internal leadership and executive teams
* International recruiting experience is a bonus

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
* 3+ years of technical recruiting, sourcing, or related field experience
* 2+ years experience working in an in-house environment
