Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, permanent opportunity for an Analytical Lab Manager in Owensboro, KY. Relocation assistance is offered!

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Sr Manager of Analytical Sciences
• Plan and lead daily lab activities to ensure goals are achieved and results are delivered according to customer requests and ISO standards
• Manage sample control systems and analyses schedules
• Develop, motivate, invest in, and guide ~3-5 direct reports
• Ensure ISO 17025 compliance such as, but not limited to, ensuring appropriate documentation and implementing method development/method validation program
• Research and propose forecasts for operational and capital expenditure costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members and maintain a proactive relationship
• Evaluate and suggest continual improvements
• Other duties as requested

You would be a great fit if you meet the following qualifications:

• BS in Chemistry, Biology, or closely related science discipline
• Must have at least 5 years of Lab Operations Management or Sr Analytical Chemist experience within an ISO/GMP/FDA regulated environment
• Must have chromatography (LC, GC, IEC, triple quad) and Mass Spec experience
• Thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
• Above average communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to work Monday - Friday ~8:00am - 4:30pm

Salary will range between $90k - $100k with above average benefits such as 12 company holidays, 3 weeks PTO (with option to purchase another week after 1 year of service), excellent 401k program, profit sharing, and paid leave/adoption assistance for new parents in addition to health benefits.
