Position Summary

As the FP&A Manager, you are a key finance position reporting to the Director, FP&A - Made To Order Business Unit. You will assist senior Business Unit leadership in Financial Planning & Analysis work focused on short and long-term financial planning and/or financial analysis of business operations for the purpose of measuring and forecasting future business performance. You will also provide dotted-line support to Director, Finance - Semi-custom Business Unit supporting all aspects of net sales including pricing trends, promotional strategies, and returns & allowances and performs corporate controller responsibilities.

This role can be based remotely.

Key Accountabilities

* Analyzes, evaluates and develops forecasting models for internal financial information (e.g., profit loss accounts, financial statements, working capital, costs, prices, expenses, revenues, rates of return, etc.)
* Leads financial modeling to measure and forecast potential impacts of financial transactions and Business Unit development activities (operational effectiveness, capacity utilization, etc.)
* Adapts Business Unit financial plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
* Partner with the Leader of Product, Marketing, & Customer Service to develop pricing, promotional, and new product strategies that drive profitable growth for the business unit
* Develop and articulate a deep understanding of the drivers behind all components of net sales, including forecasting and month-end closing responsibilities
* Preparation and review of periodic financial reports including division P&L and performance metrics
* Provide financial forecasts and corporate controller support for business unit supporting product, marketing, and customer service teams
* Regularly engages in special projects related to finance & accounting efficiency improvement goals
* Consistently demonstrate our MasterBrand Way, positioning the company for growth and helping identify opportunities to reduce waste, complexity, and improve our work environment

Characteristics & Attributes

* Strong organizational and execution skills. The candidate must be capable of moving assignments forward with high quality execution and minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills are a must. Ability to drive successful execution of strategic plans.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills - the ability to take complex subject matter and package in a story-board format that is clear and simple at the executive level (effectively communicate up)
* Ability to critically assess and simplify processes and controls, and challenge business drivers and risks. Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures.
* Some experience with a manufacturing organization, preferably in consumer goods or a made-to-order environment.
