Job description

Assist the Human Resources Director in all aspects of Human Resources management and serve as the primary manager of the day-to-day operations of the department.

* Manage and provide input regarding the direction of the Human Resources functions of team member relations, employment and recruitment, training and events.
* Ensure all departments are supported through development and implementation of new procedures for the effective operation of the Human Resources department.
* Serves as the Team Member advocate and may be required to bring issues to the attention of the Human Resources Director and/or senior property management, as appropriate.
* Administer and communicate company policies, procedures and programs to include the EDRICK process.
* Review and advise management staff on matters dealing with performance and conduct issues, team member relations, and labor issues.
* Responsible for Contract interpretations.
* Oversees all leaves of absence requests including but not limited to: FMLA, ADA, Bereavement, Personal, etc.
* Responsible for communicating benefit information to the property.
* Review and approve all levels of discipline issued.
* Assist Director of Human Resources with EEOC and NLRB charge responses and termination related matters.
* Respond to Subpoena requests.
* Promote effective communication between team members and management.
* Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all matters.

Provides support and guidance to all departments relating to H.R. functions. Establishes and maintains open communication channels with team members, develops team member relations programs and ensures consistent application of company policies and procedures. Assists with the administration of the EDRICK Team Member review process.

* Requires BA Degree or equivalent.
* Requires 5 years + experience in Human Resources management.
* Experience in a Union environment is necessary
* Must have experience with Labor and Employee Relations
* Experience with Compensation and Benefits administration
* Knowledgeable with Employment Law and FMLA
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft office package.
