HR Generalist Responsibilities:
The HR Generalist manages the day-to-day responsibilities and operations by delivering high-level customer service to staff and management. In this role, the HR Business Partner will provide a variety of HR services including delivery of services, adherence to policies, and administration and implementation of employment related programs. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws. This position will report to the Regional HR Manager.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Establish regular meetings with departmental stakeholders and respective business units
  • Consult with departmental leadership to effectively diagnose organizational issues and create action plans for resolution
  • Represent HR as a single point of contact for staff and managers, providing HR support and proactive advice and consultation
  • Drive the business planning and performance review process throughout the organization by working with leadership in identifying and addressing performance related issues
  • Interpret policy for stakeholders by maintaining thorough knowledge of company policies
  • Coordinate the grievance, harassment, and complaint process
  • Service management and team members by providing objective feedback and solutions focused recommendations in resolving conflict and employee relations matters
  • Coordinate new employee orientation

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

HR Generalist Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent experience or combination
  • 2 years HR experience required
  • Good communication skills required
  • Experience with HRIS, and other Human Resource related technologies required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Basic Excel skills are required.

At GHP we require the employee to be able to perform the duties of this job including opening filing cabinets, ability to sit for long periods of time, and lifting office products up to 20 lbs. The employee should be flexible; patient focused, show initiative, as well as maintains a high standard of confidentiality. The candidate for this position must have computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office and must be able to effectively communicate with others both verbally and in writing. Additional requirements are to have the ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness as well as demonstrate understanding of third-party healthcare reimbursement regulations.
