Job description

Overview:
This person will provide clinical and sales support for Cook Biotech products through direct physician interaction, medical staff education, and sales staff education.

Responsibilities:
Develop detailed understanding of targeted government accounts including the followingSurgeons using biologic products

Supply chain stakeholders

Types of surgical and wound care procedures performed

Types of biologic products used in hospital

Identify, establish, support and develop relationships with key clinical and non-clinical decisions makers to designated accounts

Facilitate connecting sales agents and/or distributors with physicians and other stakeholders in accounts

Educate and update customers through in-servicing training, literature, videos, and articles approved by the company

Provide clinical support during procedures

Meet with physicians and stakeholders to gain key market insights to maintain a good relationship.

Gather market intelligence from interactions with health care, supply chain, and industry professionals

Provide clinical experience and other feedback to various teams at Biotech including product management, marketing, product engineering, and other internal groups

Maintain knowledge of CBI product lines, clinical procedures, business ethics and other educational requirements

Remain current in the scientific literature and marketing literature as it relates to Biotech products

Apply the understanding of relevant controlling regulations cited in the Quality System Manual in carrying out job responsibilities.

Complete expense reports, call reports and other administrative documentation as required

Assist Management with other corporate duties as required.

Works with Business Development and Global Product Management to deliver the Global Business Plan for Biodesign products.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree acceptable or extensive work experience

At least five year's industry experience in medical device sales and/or clinical training

Able to work independently and self-motivated

Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills

Proven organizational and project management skills

Thorough knowledge and understanding of US Federal regulations and applicable industry standards governing medical devices.

Ability to present a professional and personable demeanor in phone, written, and face-to-face communications

Proven ability to work with doctors and outside institutions

Ability and willingness to travel in the United States.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations

Limited exposure to hazardous chemicals used in the manufacture of the product.

Travel as required, up to 70%

Physical demands are typical of an office and classroom environment.

Ability and qualified to be in hospital operating rooms to observe surgical procedures
