At Sinclair Tractor, we pride ourselves on being the destination in Southeast Iowa for agricultural equipment, precision farming, agronomic decision support, NAPA parts and computers. With multiple John Deere dealerships and NAPA parts locations and a computer service location, we are looking for motivated and talented people to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to support all aspects of human resources practices and processes in our multiple locations. The Human Resource Assistant coordinates personnel related policies and procedures in compliance with all Federal, State/Province, and local employment laws. Assists the business in achieving goals through productive and engaged employees. Coordinates the talent acquisition and talent management process. Promotes corporate values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect of this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in development and communication of policies and procedures for the organization.
  • Coordinates employee engagement programs which may include recognition and wellness
  • Fulfills HR processes related to the recruiting efforts for the organization including interviewing, assisting with candidate selection processes and full cycle ownership of ATS.


Experience and Skills
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
  • 1 year experience in Human Resources activities such as, staffing, employee development, training, and legal compliance, preferred
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Knowledge of database software and human resources computer application systems, preferred
  • Understands confidentiality policies, employee notification requirements, and other regulatory policies
  • Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups

Job Benefits
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED WORK HOURS

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional Saturday work may be required as job duties demand.

TRAVEL

This position requires up to 25% travel to our various locations as needed.
