Digital Producer and Promotions Assistant for Dwyer & Michaels

Townsquare Media Quad Cities is looking for a producer and promotions assistant for the syndicated Dwyer and Michaels morning show. Candidate will work with Dwyer and Michaels show along with Director of Content on show content for our website and social media along with all 97X events. Candidate needs to be an organized self-starter who can talk to business leaders and account reps to help coordinate appearances and events.

Candidate will work with hosts to create web content for the show and station, along with social media interaction. Candidates must be proficient in writing and will need to be skillful in all social media platforms.

The successful candidate should have strong communication skills. Candidate must be able to connect and engage with the station's target audience on site, online and on air as they will be an active member of the Dwyer & Michaels morning show. This person is eager to build relationships and value in our community and is an excellent communicator within the building, and with listeners. This position requires someone that will collaborate extensively with the other members of the morning show.

Promotional Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Execute promotions such as remotes, events, van hits, and other street team activities from start to finish.
• Interact with listeners, clients, and execute prize giveaways on-site.
• Set up, breakdown, and transport promotional equipment to and from events including tents, banners, sound systems, prizing, etc.
• Photograph and record events for website, social media and clients.
• Drive promotional vehicles to and from events.
  
  

Digital Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Research and write compelling stories for the 97X and Dwyer and Michaels websites.
• Post stories to station/show social media.
• Engage with audience on social media platforms.
  
  

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent education.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in writing
• Problem-solving and decision making.
• Ability to stand for multiple hours and lift/move 40-pound objects.
