Job Title: Functional Process Expert - Finance

Location: USA, Remote

Purpose statement:

The Functional Process Expert is responsible for the development, improvement, and implementation of processes pertaining to the ERP solution. This position will serve as a Finance Subject Matter Expert for issues and will work directly with the corresponding Business Process Owner to effectively implement changes to the system.

Essential Functions:

  • Interacts with global Finance functional users to collect & translate requirements for any enhancements to the ERP solution and works with IT to deliver solution
  • Manages and executes testing activities to ensure maximum process efficacy and collaborates with Finance stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
  • Owns specific process design activities, proactively identifies issues, develops fixes, and drives implementation of fixes; coordinates with the BPO to optimize process designs
  • Interacts regularly with functional users to understand their processes and incorporate into and maintain standard training documentation
  • Support testing activities in the event that ERP system updates are conducted to ensure existing functionality and processes are not impacted
  • Develops and drives business improvement efforts jointly with the business and GBS counterparts
  • Provides in-depth process information to the GBS IT process teams and works with Third third party support (AMS) through expert understanding of the ERP solution and operations
  • Works to resolve end-user defect tickets related to the ERP solution
  • Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree, Accounting, Finance or Business Information System preferred


Professional Experience:
  • 2+ years proven analytical and/or business analysis experience
  • Prior ERP experience required, SAP preferred

  • Using Fingers/Grasping/Feeling: writing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling. Applying pressure to an object with the fingers or palm and perceiving attributes of objects such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touch.
  • Repetitive Motion: substantial movements (motion) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

  • Reaching: extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
  • Lifting: raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position.
  • Bending: bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist and/or bending leg; bending legs at knee to come to rest or kneel.
  • Pushing/Pulling: using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward/using upper extremities to exert force in order to drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
  • Climbing: stairs, stools, ramps, ladders.


Visual Acuity:
  • Ability to read pertinent printed material and distinguish colors.
  • Ability to accurately read measurements on equipment.
  • Ability to prepare and read written documentation; use of computer.
