With our combined resources CommonSpirit is committed to building healthy communities advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable and innovating how and where healing can happen both inside our hospitals and out in the community.ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Monitors and reports on inventory information systems.Monitors and reports on clinical information systems.Coordinates any program development and changes with Cath Lab clinical information (CARIS) system.Coordinates ACC (American College of Cardiology) data for Cath/PCI registry. Makes necessary recommendations to meet requirements for the registry. Serves as Administrator of test database.Assists in interventional meetings and working with physicians and employees regarding supply and equipment changes.Manages work activities and inventory data systems to provide optimum patient care.Serves as a liaison with Purchasing, Receiving, Finance departments and other departments.Maintains all aspects of patient confidentiality.Monitors trends of new products. Provide monthly/annual reporting to Administration, Department Management team, Quality Assurance/Process Improvement team and Physicians.Assists in evaluating and planning to meet Cath Lab needs and goals. Assists with the budget process regarding inventory issues.Assists in developing, implementing, interpreting, and administering approved Cath Lab objectives, policies and procedures regarding inventory issues. Provides education to personnel and physicians on all Systems.MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:Participates in personnel activities as needed.Participates on committees as assigned. Participates in activities and projects under the direction of management teamQualificationsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: A minimum of 2 years critical care nursing experience or current registry as an ARRT. Two (2) years Cath Lab experience required. BLS certified within six (6) months of hire.Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter Dependent Adult Abuse training within three (3) months of hire.
