Assembly Worker 1st & 2nd shift openings
Waterloo, IA
$15-16/hour
Our manufacturing client in Waterloo, IA is looking to Assembly Workers for their 1st and 2nd shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Review blueprints and work instructions to produce accurate work product that meets quality standards, safety requirements and allotted run times while meeting efficiency and productivity goals of the department.
Generate minimal waste and maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Other projects and duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Job Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Manufacturing assembly experience is required.
Entry-Level position, job assignment and pay will be commensurate with level of demonstrated skills through school and previous positions.
Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Any experience assembling components is a plus.
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Possess basis math knowledge.
Effective communication and listening skills required.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
