The Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions is responsible for supporting the Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions and senior executives in driving NCS's acquisition growth strategy. The Manager will be involved in all facets of the M&A process from beginning to end. Important steps in this process include maintaining and updating the M&A pipeline, performing due diligence procedures, evaluating and summarizing financial statements and business data, interacting with sellers, managing and interacting with third-party advisors, and preparing key stakeholders within NCS to integrate pending acquisitions. This role will be highly visible to senior executives, group leaders within NCS, financial sponsor partners, and business owners. Therefore, the role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills in addition to analytical acumen and expertise with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

The position requires a moderate amount of travel and a willingness to work long hours depending on deal activity.

What You'll Do…

* Report directly to Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions and work closely with senior executives, advisors, and financial sponsor transaction team
* Assist in all facets of evaluating and executing M&A transactions, including managing third-party advisors and driving the overall pace and timing of M&A transactions
* Build analyses and summarize due diligence findings to drive decision making during all phases of the M&A process
* Assist in the structuring and management of projects from ideation through due diligence and review with key stakeholders to deliver timely, high-quality results
* Build landscapes and lists of potential targets by gaining a deep understanding of the car wash industry and NCS's M&A strategy
* Manage pipeline at all phases and drive outreach and follow-up to key targets by assisting senior executives
* Communicate (using verbal and written communications) convincingly and succinctly with senior leadership and financial sponsor team members

What You Need…

* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or other related fields of study
* 1-3 years of experience in comparable role with focus on transactions (e.g., investment banking, commercial lending, private equity, corporate development, finance, etc.)
* Excellent financial modeling, organizational, problem solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail a must
* Self-starter who can manage multiple work streams
* Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritize and shift focus based on current needs
* Excellent judgement and diplomacy skills required to manage highly sensitive and confidential information and relationships
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
