What we need:We are adding a Senior Business Analyst, Planning & Scheduling to our team in Muscatine, Iowa!

In this position, you will drive HNI's system capabilities and enhancements by partnering with functional leaders and process owners to determine new capabilities required to meet business needs related to Supply Chain Planning and Scheduling.

What you'll do:

  • Meet with relevant operating company functional managers and members to determine issues, problems, and new capabilities required to meet the business objectives.
  • Translate needs into business requirements through the technical delivery process, using Oracle EBS/VCP, to specify configurations, technical specs, data needs, integrations, functional code built to deliver the functional needs.
  • Manage small to medium projects: assemble teams, assign responsibilities, develop schedules, and perform implementations.
  • Evaluate defect resolution and improvement recommendations in Oracle VCP/EBS to assist on best available production date based promising, defined lead times, supplier capacity, and other supply chain constraint resolution.
  • Deal with over-scheduling scenarios using a strategic leveling approach.
  • Develop functional and technical specifications to describe the functional design of the Oracle VCP/EBS system, its RICEW (reports, interface, conversion, enhancements/extension and workflow) needs, and gap analysis and develop use cases, testing scenarios, and mock-ups/prototypes for projects

What you have:
  • Bachelor's degree or related equivalent experience, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of Oracle application functional experience in one or all the modules:
    • Oracle ASCP
    • GOP
    • Demantra.
  • Support or implementation experience in Oracle VCP & EBS R12 (12.2.4+ preferred)
  • Experience in writing MD50 for custom solutions
  • Experience in functional and regression testing
  • Basic knowledge in PL/SQL, to write simple queries to troubleshoot issues
  • Proficiency working with Oracle Support (raising SRs, escalating SRs etc.)
  • Experience in CTO model-based planning preferred
  • Experience in Oracle Order Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Inventory preferred

What you are good at:
  • Experience working with business members in supply chain planning to understand and translate requirements
  • Ability to analyze problems and creating solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Communication skills, including clearly and concisely expressing professional opinions with supporting rationale
  • Able to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems to provide data processing and procedural enhancements
