Director Child Care Center

Traditions Children's Center II is looking for a Child Care Director for our West Des Moines location. The role and responsibilities include day to day operations of a child care center. The primary focus is supervising classrooms, touring and enrolling families, hiring and supervising staff, billing and collecting tuition, vehicle operations, and closing the center. This position will ensure the implementation of licensing regulations in each classroom are met as well as proper supervision of children inside and outside the building.

This position is 40-45 hours a week. A Bachelor's or Associate Degree is required. Early childhood education or elementary education is preferred. At least one year of child care experience is preferred. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Previous experience with ITERS and ECERS is helpful. This center has a 4-star rating with QRS.
