Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) provides financial services to 21 million retail bank households and three million small business customers through approximately 4,900 retail branches, 17 customer service centers, and approximately 13,000 ATMs in 36 states and the District of Columbia. We serve and help individuals and families in many aspects of their lives, helping them buy homes, open first bank and savings accounts, buy cars to get to and from work or school, and start or grow small businesses. CSBB is focused on innovating and transforming with the customer at the center, better enabling customers to engage with us how, when, and wherever they choose. As an industry leader in many consumer and small business areas - including retail deposits, debit card transaction and purchase volume, and small business lending - our primary goal is delivering for our customers.

Consumer Data and Engagement Platforms (CDEP) works across the CSBB, Consumer Lending, and Wealth and Investment Management lines of business to develop coordinated strategies for growth in each of Wells Fargo's customer segments. The team is responsible for designing seamless, engaging customer experiences across products and channels, and building the next-generation digital, data and analytics, and functional capabilities required to deliver toward these objectives.

The Financial Health data contracts Engagement Consultant will work across CSBB, Consumer Lending, and Wealth and Investment Management lines of business to manage third party data vendors.

  • The engagement consultant must understand the contract details and the inherent and residual risks the third party represents to Wells Fargo.
  • The engagement consultant is expected to apply business expertise to the management of a third party engagement that factors identified risks and issues into business decisions related to that engagement.
  • The engagement manager monitors and manages the third party's performance to the contract and reports the output of these activities to the business owner, relationship manager, and Third Party Center of Excellence.
  • Shepherd the Third Party Risk Information Management System (TRIMS) process for the various data contracts. In addition, will partner with Strategic Sourcing to write the SOWs for contracts and continually review and refine our contracts and keep all negotiations on track.


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning



Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
  • Agile experience
  • 5+ years of financial services industry experience
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 8+ years of data contracts engagement management experience in one or a combination of the following: digital customer experience, digital product/program management, digital platforms, digital consulting or Operations
  • 6+ years of working in a data intensive environment
  • Demonstrated ability to define data requirements and experience dealing directly with Strategic Sourcing
  • Extensive knowledge of data solutions and industry data providers
  • Experience using strong business acumen


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
