We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to to join our growing Shared Services team within the Enterprise and Strategy department. This is a small but highly collaborative team juggling multiple high-priority corporate projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, excited for a consistent flow of new challenges, and Agile minded. You will work as part of a technical team regularly collaborating with Product Owners, Software Developers, Quality Analysts, Operations Engineers, and other Business Analysts in a DevOps approach incorporating agile principles and practices.
This position can be based from any Jack Henry office or remote from any US location. Travel up to 5% for occasional meetings, trainings, conferences, or releases is required. If you are interested in this position please apply on or before Friday November 26.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
* Interacts with customers and stakeholders to gather system requirements and capture business problems.
* Prepares business requirements and functional specifications.
* Writes user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
* Contributes to business cases, ideation meetings and Change Advisory Board (CAB) presentations.
* Possesses strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Responsible for creating business requirements and system documentation, as well as contributing to end-user and project management documentation.
* Interacts with technical teams to convey business requirements.
* Works with industry research groups to prepare for product trends.
* Responsible for organizing and leading Agile ceremonies.
* May perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
* Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a technical business analyst OR writing/gathering business requirements.
* Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
WHAT WOULD BE NICE FOR YOU TO HAVE
* Bachelor's degree.
* Experience with integrations through APIs.
* Experience with DevOps.
