Lindsay Corporation manufactures and markets irrigation equipment, primarily used in the agricultural markets which increase or stabilize crop production while conserving water, energy, and labor. Lindsay also manufactures and markets infrastructure and road safety products. These are designed specifically to make roadways safer during expansions and renovations. Lindsay Corporation is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern for the Summer of 2022 to join the irrigation electrical engineering department in our global headquarters in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, highly accountable, and achievement oriented. This is a hands-on opportunity to get real work experience while learning from some of the best in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Perform design work (commensurate to experience and supervisory oversite)
• Create engineering BOMs
• Initiate engineering change notices and workflow
• Perform troubleshooting as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Current student who has successfully completed at least their first year of study for an undergraduate B.S. degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• Experience with MS office products; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Ability to read design drawings and schematics
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Flexible to changing priorities
• Ability to operate electronics test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, DVM’s, power supplies
• Able to assemble electronics using soldering skills.
