Job description

We are looking for a full-time ERP Application Analyst 3 for our headquarters in the greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting detailed requirements for business projects and determine moderately complex solution designs. Evaluate new technologies for improving existing functions and offer suggestions for design options to execute improvements. Other essential functions include:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Implement, configure, and support Oracle eBusiness Suite applications as well as other business applications
  • Gathers and documents detailed requirements for business needs and independently determines moderately complex solutions designs
  • Demonstrates advanced understanding and execution of the software development lifecycle
  • Demonstrates mastery of troubleshooting and research tools (i.e. myOracleSupport, e-TRM, Implementation Guides, etc.) to complete complex troubleshooting
  • Identifies interdependencies in programs and comprehensive test scenarios
  • Offers suggestions to improve processes and design options for executing those improvements
  • Evaluates new technologies for improving existing functions and determines feasibility of team or functional goals/objectives
  • Understands business impacts of issues as they relate to IT owned solutions
  • Provides reliable solutions to a wide range of difficult problems


Qualifications:

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another relevant field AND a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrates mastery of project management principles and adapts practices to meet rapidly changing business climates and needs
  • Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of technology solutions
  • Experience with one or more of the following module suites: Discrete Manufacturing (INV, BOM, WIP, Cost), Supply Chain (Procurement, Order Management, Shipping, WMS), Supplier Management Solutions
  • Experience testing custom applications and Oracle patches
  • Experience with PL/SQL(Programming Language/Structured Query Language)
  • Experience with Oracle application tools (e.g. Workflow, etc.)
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting
