TT Electronics' Olathe, Kansas facility, is an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of custom magnetic products and assemblies. The Olathe-based site has 65 years' experience in the design and development of unique harsh-environment solutions for mission-critical applications.

Our dedicated teams are driven by collaboration and innovation to deliver engineering-led products supporting key applications including power conversion, actuation and control systems where our solutions support a broad range of globally recognized major aerospace and defense platforms across air, land and sea.

Role Overview and Responsibilities:
The HR Manager role is responsible for performing HR-related duties to support the organization in recruitment, workforce staffing, onboarding, employee relations, affirmative action, and policy implementation.

Essential functions of the role include:

Recruiting & Talent Selection

Partner with US Recruitment Manager to generate and maintain a pipeline of qualified and diverse candidates through networking, research, data mining, and the use of some of the best tools in the industry.

Collaborate with the production team to understand specific position requirements, job responsibilities, and execute sourcing strategies to identify top talent.

Conduct phone screen of potential candidates to evaluate and assess their interest level and vet their qualifications.

Utilize and maintain Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for status tracking, analysis and reporting purposes through thorough documentation.

Interview, extend offers, and participate in negotiations for candidates with hiring managers.

Human Resources Planning and Management

Support the development of HR related strategies and ensure implementation and execution.

Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices, trends and data points to drive enhancements and continuous improvement.

Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies and make recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team.

Assists and partners with others on the administration team to support leadership efforts including client visits, audits and other special projects.

Talent Management & Development

Manages and oversee new hire onboarding programs.

Partners with the Benefits & Wellness team to drive development, learning and training programs.

Partner with divisional HR and site leadership team on succession plans and skills gap analysis, ensuring that they are consistently reviewed and that effective actions are in place.

Ensure coaching, feedback and performance systems are in place to maximize workforce productivity and employee development.

Enhance programs to drive development, employee engagement and retention.

Analyzes decisions, reports, and results of all human resources functions in relations to established goals. Recommends appropriate action in order to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Consults and counsels with leaders on performance management, talent development, salary administration, succession planning, recognition, training gaps, employee relations, employee conduct, etc.

Employee Relations

Collects and maintains all records and reports pertaining to human resources, and also ensures compliance with all applicable employment laws.

Develop effective relationships across the organization to promote good employee relations.

Promote inclusion and employee engagement through various activities and programs.

Advise, guide and support managers and supervisors with all matters relating to employee relations.

Effectively document, investigate and resolve employee-related issues and concerns.

Compensation & Payroll

Assists senior leadership on compensation structure, which rewards target results and aligns to current market.

Assists in the payroll administration and benefits inquiries as needed.

Performance Management

Drive execution of employee performance programs and expectations to ensure continuous employee development.

Ensure employee differentiation process is clearly communicated and executed.

Support the execution of development plans and provide consultation as necessary.

Employee Engagement

Support effective programs for employee engagement and recognition to maximize people-centric culture.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
Experience & Education

A degree in Human Resources (or a related field) and at least four to six years of relevant and related work experience.

Previous experience supervising a small team.

PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

In-depth knowledge of multiple disciplines including recruiting, employee relations, HR systems, performance management, benefits, training, compliance and compensation.

Professionalism, tact, and confidentiality are required.

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Knowledge of employment laws and practices.

Prior experience with a Human Resources Information System is required.
