**Job Summary**

The Business Analyst will be part of the B&V Digital Office with focus on Automation and Business Transformation projects. This role is multifaceted and combines working with corporate and business customers, IT support functions (Applications, Infrastructure, Security) and with external vendor/delivery teams to develop business requirements for automation and business process transformation opportunities. The Business Analyst's primary responsibilities will be to develop business requirements by conducting workshops and meetings for specific use cases, facilitate the assessment of efficiency & value in conjunction with the business stakeholders for identified opportunities. Additionally, the Business Analyst will also support the Automation Technical Lead, and other Digital Office transformation projects in the design and testing of solutions to address the business requirements of specific projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Serve as a liaison between the business area and technical professionals through which business requirements for enterprise wide use cases can be generated.

+ Prepare materials and lead workshops, meetings with representatives from various business units and back office functions (HR, IT, Finance, etc.) to develop automation & process transformation opportunities, document business requirements, draw the current state business processes & metrics, and to develop efficiency estimates for the automation use cases.

+ Drive the enterprise wide assessment of specific automation & process transformation use cases and garner agreements around process standardization and/or development of a process change implementation roadmap around the specific use case(s).

+ Prepare use case artifacts such as process qualification documents, business requirements document, process workflows and other such artifacts needed to acquire agreements from stakeholders and for hand-offs to the design and implementation teams.

+ Recommend the appropriate project management methodology to be applied for the specific use case, i.e. Agile, DevSecOps, Waterfall. Review the project plan in conjunction with the project management functions to ensure that business requirements are suitably being met.

+ Partner with business stakeholders and Automation CoE Lead to prioritize automation use cases and to maintain the automation opportunity pipeline.

+ Drive the adoption of best practices around the business analysis and opportunity qualification approach.

+ Support the Automation CoE Leader in assessing each business case submitted for automation and by providing data to support the Return on Investment evaluation of the business case.

+ Conduct educational sessions with the businesses to promote the automation intake process.

+ Keen analytical and problem-solving capabilities with demonstrated ability to present business requirements to technical and non-technical audience as well as prepare clear and concise written documentation.

+ Able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and efficiently working to prioritize and cater to the requests from key stakeholders.

+ Financial acumen to facilitate the development and assessment of business case value.

+ Experience working with global teams.

**Management Responsibilities**

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ 5+ years of relevant work experience which includes development business requirements for automation and process transformation projects across multiple business units at an enterprise level in the E&C industry

+ 5+ years of demonstrated professional experience in working across Agile & Waterfall methodologies and developing associated documents specific to business requirements

+ 5+ years of experience leading workshops, facilitation meetings and developing agreements with business stakeholders around process standardization and automation roadmaps.

+ 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the understanding of workflow-based logic and ability to illustrate a written process description as a workflow diagram.

+ High level understanding of some of the key process areas in the E&C industry (e.g. Bid, Design, Construction, back office functions such as Finance, HR, IT)

+ Excellent MS Office skills including MS Visio and other flow-charting tools.

+ Strong interpersonal, presentation, written communication and facilitation skills

+ Demonstrated experience in developing business cases in the E&C industry and participated in at least 5 full lifecycle automation and/or process transformation projects

+ Strong understanding of automation principles

+ Manage change, ambiguity and complexity with ease

+ Able to prioritize and work on multiple projects concurrently and efficiently
